    Constitution of the Student Government Association of the 

    Abington College of 

    The Pennsylvania State University


    PREAMBLE


    We, the students of the Abington College of The Pennsylvania State University, in order to best serve our student body, do hereby establish and ordain a democratic student government within this constitution.


    ARTICLE I – NAME


    The name of this organization shall be the Student Government Association of the Abington College of The Pennsylvania State University, hereafter called SGA.


    ARTICLE II – PURPOSE


    2.1 To give organized expression to the needs and desires of the student body.


    2.2 To serve as a bridge of communication between students, faculty, staff, and administration.


    2.3 To conduct financial business in a timely and ethically responsible manner.


    ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP


    3.1 All currently registered students who are enrolled in certificate, associate, and/or bachelor degree programs of the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University are considered members of SGA.


    3.2 Executive Board shall be in good academic standing with a cumulative 2.5 GPA or above.


    3.3 General Board shall be in good academic standing with a cumulative 2.25 GPA or above.


    ARTICLE IV – STRUCTURE


    4.1 The structure of SGA shall consist of four components:


    4.1.1 The executive board shall consist of the following:  President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

        

    4.1.1.1 Each member of the Executive Board counts for one individual vote during a meeting, with the exception of the SGA President, who will vote in the event of a tie.

        

    4.1.2 The Class Representatives shall consist of the following: Senior Representatives, Junior Representatives, Sophomore Representatives, and Freshman Representatives.  


    4.1.1.2 Each class will be given one vote per class in an SGA meeting.


    4.1.3 The Special Members consists of committee chairs established in this constitution and others that the President may see necessary.


        4.1.3.1 Special Members all receive one vote each at General Board Meetings. 


    4.1.4 The General Membership shall include all Penn State Abington students who choose to be involved.


    ARTICLE V – RESPONSIBILITIES


    5.1 The SGA is empowered to:

        

    5.1.1 Make recommendations concerning the general welfare of the student body to the University Administration, the Abington College Faculty Senate, the University Faculty Senate, the Abington College Administration, the Advisory Board, and The Council of Commonwealth Student Governments.


    5.1.2 Pass binding legislation concerning the coordination of activities of campus student organizations.  SGA shall pass no legislation which conflicts with the rules and regulations established by the University.


    5.1.3 Approve, disapprove, investigate, suspend, or revoke the official charters of the student organizations as outlined in Article XII.


    5.1.4 Initiate and coordinate functions and activities of the student body through the campus chartered organizations.


    5.1.6 Appoint student representatives to all appropriate Abington College Administrative Committees.


    5.2 The SGA is a member of the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments.


    5.3 The Executive Board shall have the following responsibilities:


    5.3.1 To ensure that SGA operates under the policies and procedures defined in this constitution and related documents.


    5.3.2 To execute the tasks and duties outlined in the SGA constitution.


    5.3.3 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    5.3.3.1 Excused absences must be submitted in writing to the SGA President for approval with no less than 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled meeting.

        

        5.3.4 To positively represent SGA at all times.


        5.3.5 Follow all guidelines set forth by the SGA Advisor.


    5.3.6 Complete all tasks given in the CN ED 297 course.


    5.3.7 Officer terms shall begin when the Executive Board is sworn in at The SGA Awards Banquet. 


    5.3.8 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    5.4 The Class Representatives shall have the following responsibilities:


        5.4.1 To serve as the liaison between SGA and their respective class.


        5.4.2 To execute the tasks and duties outlined in the SGA constitution.


        5.4.3 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.

    5.4.3.1 Excused absences must be submitted in writing to the SGA President for approval with no less than 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled meeting.


        5.4.4 To positively represent SGA at all times.


        5.4.5 Have other duties as assigned by the SGA Executive Board and Advisor.


    5.4.6 Terms shall be in accordance with Executive Board terms.


    5.4.7 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    5.5 Special Members have the following responsibilities:


        5.5.1 To execute the tasks and duties outlined in the SGA constitution.

        

        5.5.2 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    5.5.2.1 Excused absences must be submitted in writing to the SGA President for approval with no less than 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled meeting.


    5.5.3 To positively represent SGA at all times.


    5.5.4 Have other duties as assigned by the SGA Executive Board and Advisor.


    5.5.5 Terms shall be in accordance with Executive Board terms.


    5.5.6 Adhere to the SGA and Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    5.6 Webmaster has the following responsibilities:


        5.6.1 Maintain SGA website.


        5.6.2 Maintain SGA office equipment and systems.


        5.6.3 Update software on all electronic equipment in the SGA office.


        5.6.4 Serve on Public Relations Committee


        5.6.5 Attend all SGA meetings, forums and special events.


        5.6.6 To positively represent SGA at all times.


    5.6.7 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    5.6.8 Chair IT advisory committee


    5.7 General Membership has the following responsibilities:


        5.7.1 Attend all SGA forums, general board meetings.


    5.7.2 All Penn State Abington Students are invited to bring forth issues that directly affect Penn State Abington community and to be actively involved in the resolution of those issues.    


    5.7.4 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.




    ARTICLE VI – ADVISOR


    6.1 The Advisor(s) to SGA shall be the Associate Director of Student Affairs at the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University.


    ARTICLE VII – OFFICER DUTIES


    7.1 Executive Board:


        7.1.1 President:


    7.1.1.1 Serve as a spokesperson concerning the policies or actions adopted by SGA.


    7.1.1.2 Express the campus vote at all inter-campus conferences with due respect to his or her delegation’s opinions.


    7.1.1.3 Serve as spokesperson of the overall student body.


    7.1.1.4 Act as a mediator in affairs of organizations upon request.


    7.1.1.5 Preside over all SGA meetings in an orderly fashion.


    7.1.1.6 Maintain the power to appoint committees and chairpersons.


    7.1.1.7 Be empowered to call special SGA meetings when deemed necessary.


    7.1.1.8 Serve as the co-chair (along with the Director of Student Affairs) of the Student Activities Fee Committee.


    7.1.1.9 Be a voting member of the Abington Faculty Senate Student Affairs Committee.


    7.1.1.10 Serve as a voting member at all Abington Faculty Senate meetings.


    7.1.1.11 Attend all campus Advisory Board meetings.


    7.1.1.12 Attend Alumni Association meetings.


    7.1.1.13 Organize Club President meetings as necessary with the aid of the Vice President.


    7.1.1.14 Preside over Club President meetings.


    7.1.1.15 Serve as co-chair (along with the current Chief Ogontz) of the Chief Ogontz committee.


    7.1.1.16 Meet with SGA advisor on a weekly basis.


    7.1.1.17 Attend all CCSG Caucus and University Park meetings and send in proxy list to CCSG Secretary.


    7.1.1.18 Sign checks to be co-signed by SGA Advisor in absence of the Treasurer.


    7.1.1.19 Relinquish his or her powers and duties to the Vice President during absence or inability to act.


    7.1.1.20 Submit a President’s Update to the website monthly.


    7.1.1.21 Brief the President elect on all his or her responsibilities.


    7.1.1.22 Keep records of all progress so they can be shared with future Presidents.


    7.1.1.23 Post current semester schedule, accompanied by email address, in a visible location in the Lion’s Den for those students who would like to meet by appointment.


    7.1.1.24 Assist in the impeachment process as outlined under Article XI.


    7.1.1.25 Be responsible for submitting an article on SAF to the website.


    7.1.1.26 Coordinate and oversee SGA elections if not running for an executive board position.

        

    7.1.2 Vice President:


    7.1.2.1 Be vested with all the powers of and shall perform the duties of the President during the President’s absence or inability to act.


    7.1.2.2 Serve as the liaison to all SGA committees and be ready to report the progress of the committee at any time.


    7.1.2.3 Have other duties assigned by the President.


    7.1.2.4 Responsible for a yearly review of the constitution before the beginning of the fall semester.


    7.1.2.5 Must attend all CCSG meetings each semester.


    7.1.2.6 Participate in SGA Advisor/President meetings when necessary.


    7.1.2.7 Maintain and update SGA member and club mailboxes.


    7.1.2.8 Assist new clubs with their constitutions.  Bring it to SGA meetings for approval and orient them to their responsibilities as a recognized organization.  


    7.1.2.9 When necessary, aid SGA President in organizing Club President meetings.


    7.1.2.10 Brief the Vice President elect on all his or her responsibilities.


    7.1.2.11 Keep records of all progress so they can be shared with future Vice Presidents.


    7.1.2.12 Post current semester schedule, accompanied by email address, in a visible location in the SGA office for those students who would like to meet by appointment.


    7.1.2.13 Update the Student Life Assistant on all SGA events.


        7.1.3 Treasurer:


    7.1.3.1 Chair the SGA Budget Committee.


    7.1.3.2 Maintain accounts with the assistance of the SGA Advisor.  The Treasurer’s accounts shall be audited at the close of every academic year at the request of the SGA President or University auditors.


    7.1.3.3 Sign all checks to be co-signed by the SGA Advisor or his/her staff proxy.


    7.1.3.4 Prepare fiscal reports detailing the overall condition of SGA and all active chartered student organization accounts upon request of the SGA President and/or clubs and organizations.


    7.1.3.5 Make a summary report of all business through June 30 of the year in office and submit to SGA records.


    7.1.3.6 Submit a statement to each chartered student organization within the first two weeks of the semester as to the financial status of those organizations.


    7.1.3.7 Shall have the Treasurer’s books ready for audit at any time.


    7.1.3.8 Shall sit on the Student Activities Fee Committee as an ex-officio member.


    7.1.3.9 Monitor and enforce student organizations expenses and deposits in consultation with the SGA Advisor.


    7.1.3.10 Hold monthly Treasurer meetings with club Treasurers.


    7.1.3.11 Have other duties as assigned by the President or Vice President.


    7.1.3.12 Brief the Treasurer elect on his/her responsibilities.


    7.1.3.13 Keep records of all progress so they can be shared with Treasurers.


    7.1.3.14 Post current semester schedule, accompanied by email address, in a visible location in the SGA office for those students who would like to meet by appointment.


    7.1.4 Secretary:


    7.1.4.1 Handle all correspondence concerning SGA business and filing paperwork and emails for both SGA files and SGA Advisor.


    7.1.4.2 Responsible for the organization, administration, and maintenance of SGA files.


    7.1.4.3 Shall assist the SGA Treasurer in filing all budgetary papers.


    7.1.4.4 Record and post accurate minutes of all SGA meetings in a timely manner.


    7.1.4.5 Coordinate, organize, and keep records of all the contact information of the SGA members.


    7.1.4.6 Organize University Faculty Senate elections in the event that the current University Faculty Senator is running for re-election.


    7.1.4.7 Have other duties as assigned by the President or Vice President.


    7.1.4.8 Brief the Secretary elect on his or her responsibilities.


    7.1.4.9 Keep records of all progress so they can be shared with future Secretaries. 


    7.1.4.10 Post current semester schedule, accompanied by email address, in a visible location in the Lion’s Den for those students who would like to meet by appointment.


    7.1.4.11 Manage SGA office Supplies and provide monthly updates the the SGA Advisor and Treasurer.


    7.2 Class Representatives


    7.2.1 Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Representatives:


    7.2.1.2 Reach out to your respective class to learn its issues and concerns.


    7.2.1.3 All representatives shall serve as members of the Public Relations committee.


    7.2.1.4 Assist in the production and distribution of all publications and advertisements for SGA in conjunction with Public Relations Executive and the committee.


    7.2.1.5 Hold regular representatives meetings with the other respective representatives.


    7.2.1.6 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    7.2.1.7 Have other duties assigned by the President or Vice President.


    7.2.1.8 Keep records of your progress so they can be shared with future representatives.


    7.2.1.9 Hold regular office hours in the SGA office totaling no less than one hour a week, or deemed necessary by the SGA Executive Board.


    7.2.1.10 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.



    7.3 University Faculty Senate Representative:


    7.3.1 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    7.3.2 Attend all University Faculty Senate meetings at University Park and give reports at SGA meetings and forums.


    7.3.3 Submit an article on University Faculty Senate issues to the monthly SGA newsletter.


    7.3.4 Coordinate University Faculty Senator elections, if not running for the position.


    7.3.5 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    7.3.6 Attend monthly Abington Faculty Senate meetings..


    7.3.7. Prepare an update for CCSG meetings to be presented by the SGA

     President at monthly council meetings.

        

    7.4 THON Chair:

        

    7.4.1 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    7.4.2 Coordinate, advertise, and run general THON committee meetings.


    7.4.2.1 THON Chair must coordinate dancer selection.


    7.4.2.2 THON Chair cannot campaign to become a dancer nor endorse any committee member campaigning.


    7.4.3 Recruit committee members.


    7.4.4 Appoint Fundraising Coordinator, Canning Captain, and Moraler Captain.


        7.4.4.1 Fundraising Coordinator:


    7.4.4.1.1 Raise Money for THON.


    7.4.4.1.2 Advertise and run fundraising meetings.

    7.4.4.1.3 Work with Canning Captain on canning projects.


    7.4.4.1.4 Develop and implement fundraising opportunities (events, contests, solicitations from alumni and outside agencies, etc.) and obtain approval from SGA Advisor.


    7.4.4.1.5 Recruit members to participate in fundraising efforts.


    7.4.4.1.6 Work with SGA Treasurer and Student Life Assistant to manage monies.


    7.4.4.1.7 Follow all THON and University policies.


    7.4.4.1.8 Assist in creating reports for the following year’s THON committee.

    7.4.4.2 Canning Captain:

        

        7.4.4.2.1 Raise money for THON.


        7.4.4.2.2 Coordinate canning weekends.


        7.4.4.2.3 Recruit members to participate in canning.


        7.4.4.2.4 Educate canners on THON canning policies.


        7.4.4.2.5 Follow all THON and University policies.

        

    7.4.4.2.5 Assist in creating reports for the following year’s THON committee.


    7.4.4.3 Moraler Captain:


    7.4.4.3.1 Advertise and run moraler meetings.


    7.4.4.3.2 Develop moraler selection process.


    7.4.4.3.3 Coordinate moralers for THON weekend (including coordinating schedule and passes).


    7.4.4.3.4 Work with Advisor to reserve rooms for THON weekend and gain financial approval from SGA Treasurer.


    7.4.4.3.5 Educate moralers on THON purpose and policies.


    7.4.4.3.6 Educate moralers on their role in supporting dancers.


    7.4.4.3.7 Coordinate dancer mail.


    7.4.4.3.8 Follow all THON and University policies.


    7.4.4.3.9 Assist in creating reports for the following year’s THON committee.


    7.4.4.4 General Committee Members:


    7.4.4.4.1 Attend and participate in THON meetings.


    7.4.4.4.2 Assist with fundraising efforts, including canning weekends.


    7.4.4.4.3 Assist with advertising efforts.


    7.4.4.4.4 Have the option to serve as THON moraler.


    7.4.4.4.5 Have the option to campaign to be a THON dancer.


    7.4.4.4.6 Follow all THON and University policies.


    7.4.5 Provide leadership for THON Fundraising Coordinator, Canning Captain, and Moraler Captain.


    7.4.6 Coordinate and run THON meeting with Fundraising Coordinator, Canning Captain, and Moraler Captain.


    7.4.7 If not campaigning to be a dancer, coordinate dancer selection process (if campaigning, moraler captain should coordinate the process).


    7.4.8 Educate campus about THON.


    7.4.9 Educate committee on purpose and policies pertaining to THON.


    7.4.10 Serve as THON representative at University Park, attending appropriate meetings and retreats.


    7.4.11 Serve on the THON committee at all CCSG meetings or have the option to appoint a delegate for this committee.


    7.4.12 Be responsible for submitting an article on THON’s progress to the monthly SGA newsletter.


    7.4.13 Follow all THON and University policies.


    7.4.14 Create reports to pass along to following year’s THON committee.


    7.5 Club Presidents


    7.5.1 Adhere to the SGA and The Pennsylvania State University Codes of Conduct and their consequences.


    7.5.2 Attend monthly SGA sponsored Club President meetings.


    7.5.2.1 Excused absences must be submitted in writing to the SGA President and/or Vice President for approval 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.

    7.5.3 Positively represent their respective organization and SGA at all times.


    7.5.4 Maintain progress reports so they can be reviewed by the SGA Executive Board.


    7.5.5 Responsible for coordinating, advertising, and running a respective campus-wide event at least once a semester.


    7.5.6 Abide by all policies in the Organization Handbook


        ARTICLE VIII – ELIGIBILITY

    8.1 All currently registered, full-time students who are enrolled in certificate, associate, and/or bachelor degree programs of the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University are considered members of SGA.


    8.2 To serve on the Executive Board, as a Class Representative, or as a Special Member, a student must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, with the exception of first semester students who must have a 2.25 after their first semester.  The SGA Advisor will notify students of their ineligibility.


    8.3 An Executive Board member may not be, nor may become, an Executive officer in another club or organization.


    ARTICLE IX – ELECTIONS AND APPOINTMENTS


    9.1 All rules and regulations of the election process shall be created in compliance with the SGA Constitution and the Election Committee.  In the case of unforeseen circumstances, decisions will be discussed between the Election Committee and the SGA Advisor.


    9.2 The Executive Board shall be elected in an annual campus-wide election held before the end of March.  Only currently enrolled Abington students may vote.


    9.3 The final decision in the election for presidency must be decided by a majority vote.


    9.6 In the event that an individual in an Executive Board position must resign before their term of office begins, the position will automatically be filled by the individual with the second highest number of votes for that position in the elections.


    9.7 In the case of a write-in, the write-in must receive 10% of the total votes to be elected into that position.


    9.8 The Freshmen Class Representatives shall be appointed by the Executive Board through an interview process, pending a ¾ majority vote of the Executive Board.


    9.9 The SGA Executive Board can make appointments or hold an election to fill any vacant positions.  Interviews will be held for appointment to any unfilled position within SGA by the existing Executive Board.  Positions will be filled pending a ¾ majority vote.


    9.10 The SGA Executive Board has the authority to create a new committee position if it is deemed necessary.


    9.11 Any appeals or complaints concerning the election process or results must be filed in writing within 48 hours after the results to the Election Committee Chair and SGA Advisor.


    ARTICLE X – TENURE AND VACANCIES


    10.1 Tenure for officers will be from the SGA Awards Banquet in April, to the following Awards Banquet the next year.


    10.2 Vacancies may occur through resignation or removal.


    10.3 All leaves of absence (such as medical, personal, or military) must be submitted in writing to the SGA Executive Board and Advisor.  The time of the leave cannot exceed a semester’s length.


    10.4 To resign from any office, a resignation letter must be presented in writing (email not acceptable) to the SGA President.


    10.5 In the event of a vacancy in the office of SGA President, the Vice President shall have the option to serve as the President for the remainder of the tenure or the Executive Board may fill the vacancy as outlined in Article IX, Section 9.8.


    10.6 All appointments must meet and adhere to criteria set forth in this constitution regarding elections.


    ARTICLE XI – IMPEACHMENT AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE


    11.1 Any member of the Executive Board, Class Representative, or Special Member who fails to perform the duties of his or her position may be removed from office.


    11.2 Only students can surface a charge of impeachment.  Any member of the Executive Board, Class Representative, or Special Member may notify the SGA President and/or the Vice President in writing of the perceived negligence of an individual to fulfill his or her responsibilities.


    11.3 The SGA President and/or Vice President shall review the notification with the SGA Advisor and may, but is not required to, take any of the following actions:

        

    11.3.1 A letter of warning must be issued by the SGA President and/or Vice President to the individual outlining the negligent behavior and expectations for improvement.


    11.3.2 Initiate the process for a hearing to request that the SGA officer/member be removed from office by the Impeachment Board.  The SGA President and/or Vice President will impartially preside over this meeting.


    11.3.2.1 If a hearing is held, the negligent behavior will be outlined by the SGA President and/or Vice President.  The SGA officer/member who allegedly is not fulfilling their responsibilities will be given an opportunity to present their response. 


    11.3.2.2 The Impeachment Board shall consist of the following:  SGA Advisor, One Executive Board member (excluding the President and Vice President), Two Class Representatives, and Two Club Presidents.


    11.3.2.3 The officer/member must be removed by 2/3 majority vote by the Impeachment Board.


    11.3.2.4 The officer/member who is removed shall have the right to appeal to the Director of Student Affairs.


    11.4 A letter of warning must be issued via certified mail prior to pursuing the removal of an officer/member from office.


    11.5 Prior to initiating a hearing, an individual should be given the option to resign from their position.  If a resignation is submitted, the SGA President and/or Vice President shall notify the rest of SGA of the resignation and outline the allegations that have been made, the response to the warning letter and the reasoning.  


    11.6 If an impeachment process is carried through, a letter must be sent via certified mail to the SGA officer/member who is being removed stating that their position is now vacant.  This letter must be sent via email to the SGA Executive Board, Advisor, and Director of Student Affairs.


        

        

    ARTICLE XII – CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS


    12.1 All currently registered, full-time students who are enrolled in certificate, associate, and/or bachelor degree programs of the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University are eligible to start an organization.


    12.1.1 Meet with the Associate Director of Student Affairs to review the mandatory steps and to discuss elements of the constitution.  Obtain approval from the Associate Director for the purpose and description of the organization.


    12.1.2 The purposed organization’s constitution must be drafted.  Included in this constitution draft are the following:  organization’s name and mission, membership, officers, advisor, election of officers, meeting quorum, amendments and bylaws.  Once the draft is completed it will be reviewed by your advisor and the Associate Director of Student Affairs.


    12.1.3 The SGA Vice President will review the recognition requirements with the officers of the purposed organization.  The constitution will be placed on the agenda of the next Executive Board meeting.  The Executive Board of SGA maintains the right to approve all organizations with a vote.


    12.2 Clubs and Organizations in good standing of the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University share the same privileges and responsibilities.


        12.2.2 Space on campus to hold meetings and events


    12.2.3 Listing in major publications such as:  The Student Handbook and Student Life Brochure.


    12.2.4 Posting privileges of publicity and promotional materials.


    12.2.5 Funding from SGA.


    12.2.6 Website space on the Penn State Club Server.


    12.2.7 Support from the Office of Student Life, including professional resources and consultations.


    12.2.8 Completion of all club registration paperwork each semester.


    12.2.9 Participation in campus traditions such as:  New Student Day, Student Involvement Fair, Open House, and the spring Club Showcase.


    12.2.10 Attendance at all regular club meetings, as well as mandatory SGA sponsored events.


    12.2.11 Send representation to the Abington Student Forum meetings twice a semester.


    12.2.12 Adhere to the Code of Conduct.


        ARTICLE XIII – STUDENT FORUMS


    13.1 The Student Government Association of the Abington College of the Pennsylvania State University will be hosting Student Forums to address student based issues and concerns both within the organization as well as outside of the organization. 


        13.1.1 Held twice during one semester.


        13.1.2 Open to everyone (student body, professors, faculty, etc).


        13.1.3 Organized by SGA Executive Board.


        13.1.4 Publicized by the SGA


    13.1.5 Reports may be given by all Executive Board members, Class Representatives, and Committee Chairs.



        ARTICLE XIV – AMENDMENTS


    14.1 A proposed amendment to the constitution shall be presented in writing at a SGA meeting and approval by 2/3 majority vote by the SGA Executive Board, Class Representatives, and University Faculty Senator.

    This Code of Conduct should be followed by every member within Student Government this includes:  The Executive Board, Class Representatives, and Committee Chairs.  

    It should be used in accordance with the Constitution.


    15.1 Attend all SGA meetings, forums, and special events.


    15.1.1 Allowed only two excused absence per semester.

    15.1.1.1 An unexcused absence is considered more than one meeting missed OR failure to properly notify the President and/or Vice President no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.


    15.2 Help with events.


    15.2.1 Consequences will take effect if a consistent lack of participation occurs. 


    15.3 Represent SGA in a positive manner at all times.


        15.3.1 Includes:  meetings, events, in the office, etc.


    15.4 Show respect for all students and organizations campus-wide.


    15.4.1 Negative comments will NOT be tolerated!  Please address any issues privately to the Executive Board, or we encourage you to go directly to the individual you are concerned with and address them in a positive, professional manner.


    15.5 Respect office property and the property of others. 


        15.5.1 In cases where office space is not respected, and after one verbal warning,

                 the Executive Board has the right to limit access to the club office space if 

                 deemed necessary.


    15.6 Adhere to all additional duties outlined in the Constitution.



    Consequences to the above actions:


    Written warning from the SGA President and Vice President.



    Vice President will bring a charge of impeachment to the President.  Impeachment will be carried out as outlined in Article XI of the Constitution.
